BACKFLOW TESTING AND REPAIR

WHAT IS A BACKFLOW DEVICE

Backflow assemblies are composed of a series of Check Valves and or Relief Valves intended to prevent a backflow condition.  Water purveyors require annual testing of all backflow devices  to ensure water quality is met.

WHAT IS IT FOR?

In the event that your water supply system experiences a pressure loss, a working backflow device will prevent any water that has already passed through does not siphon back into the public water supply. This is extremely relevant to irrigation systems and fire suppression systems as this water is typically stagnant and could be harmful.

WHY SO OFTEN?

Water regulators require annual testing of all backflow devices to ensure water quality is maintained. Your water purveyor should be sending you notices when your backflow device is due for testing. Once an appointment is scheduled, we will ensure all test reports are submitted to your water purveyor for compliance. No further action is required on our customers end once the request for inspection is made with us! Give us a call today!
